The short answer
Choose nipple covers when the goal is coverage with the least structure. Choose a sticky bra when you want two cups to work together and bring the breasts inward.
Choose covers for independence
Each cover moves independently, which makes covers useful under backless, one-shoulder, halter, and asymmetrical clothing. Round breathable covers provide no lift. Teardrop lift covers add light lift through a top tab.
Choose a sticky bra for shaping
A sticky bra uses a front clasp to connect the cups. That connection creates inward shaping and can enhance cleavage under a deep neckline. It is still a light-to-medium support solution—not a replacement for traditional bra-level support.
Let the outfit decide
Look at the back, straps, center neckline, and fabric. If the dress already provides structure, coverage may be enough. If the neckline invites cleavage, choose shape. If the back is open and you want a subtle upward effect, choose lift.
